Montreal Mushrooms

Montreal, the most populous city in Canada, is a leading centre of commerce, finance, education, technology, art, culture and food. It’s a great place to take a shrooms trip, with many interesting things to see and do such as Mount Royal Park, Old Montreal, Notre Dame Basilica, the Montreal Botanical Garden or even watching a Montreal Canadiens hockey game. And don’t forget to try a legendary smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz’s or a poutine!

The montreal mushrooms  stretches from early spring to late October. During this time, mushrooms such as yellow Boletus and Cortinarii are at their peak. The fall mushrooming season is known as the “bumper period” as species such as Milk Caps, Tricholomas and Cortinarii are abundant.

Despite this, mushroom stores such as Fun Guyz continue to open across the country, selling illegally-sourced psychedelic fungi. But the shops’ owners say they’re not defying the law and don’t expect the legalization of magic mushrooms to happen any time soon. Regardless, the companies are helping to spread awareness about the benefits of this fascinating substance.
